gaano man kahirap.

Siguro naman kaya nating maabot ang ating mga pinapangarap,
kung magiging pursigido lamang tayo at
walang katamaran na maiwan sa katawan.
 Hindi hadlang ang kahirapan.
Wala lang yan. :)

ONE NEW MESSAGE by Edward Ray Gido Pagaran

The story talks about a young man who gets tired while his mother keeps on sending him a lot of messages during his high school days because his friends tend to bully him every now and then , but eventually, when he stepped to college everything changed. He was leaving alone because he was 150 kilometers away from home. The freedom he was asking for was been given but because he was leaving alone, he couldn't expect anybody can help him rather than himself. Because of that he received messages from his mother and treasured every message he received from her knowing that he couldn't depend on anyone.

...

I chose this story because probably I can relate with it. As for me, I also get irritated when my mother always ask me, where I am, whom I'm with and when is that or what is this. But based from the story that I have read, it somehow touches my heart because I realized that mothers do such things because they love you and they care for you. Surprisingly, I can barely recall some things that I have done wrong too, just like rejecting phone calls and even turning off my phone while my parents are looking for me. It makes me feel guilty and I am wishing and hoping that I will never do it again.

As time goes by, I hope that I will treasure everything my parents are doing for me.They are growing old, and time is running so fast that I would like to make the most of it. Everything has a limitation and has an end and I hope that learning from my mistakes can improve me and can make my parents proud of me. (^u^)

THE NANKING STORE by Macario Tiu

Its not good to give too much...

This statement I guess indicates what the message of the story The Nanking Store is.People actually thought giving your all to a person special to you is enough to let him/her know that they are special. Thus, for me it's a big 'NO' because too much can cause very bad results.

Linda in the story gives her unconditional love to her husband Peter. Even if her mother in law gave her too much pain and she was not welcome in the Chinese culture, but still she remained strong and she didn't give up despite of the circumstances that she had encountered.

The family of Peter would like to have a boy as their first born, but the fact that even if they try so hard to have a child, unfortunately, they were not blessed. They accuse Linda that she doesn't fit the standards of Peters family because she is not a Chinese and they do not have the same culture. But despite this accusations Linda remains what an attitude of a woman must have. Having the rights and the privilege to be with the one she loves.

Giving in too much to make the people around you happy is definitely not good. If ever you cannot give them the things that they would like to have from you, don't force yourself. If they really want you to give it, let them wait. Leave something for yourself.

LITERATURE

LITERATURE IS A...

This definitions make us realize what is the real beauty of Literature.
Everyone can be into it and have fun.
Many of us do not appreciate it.
But I guess, every person have its own perception about it.

I didn't appreciate Literature at first, sometimes you will have a hard time guessing what the symbolism and the sense of it. Until now I honestly don't understand most of them but if I will inculcate it in my mind, for sure the difficulty I am having will become lighter and I will continue to enjoy every thing about it. I already got interested and I am looking forward of learning a lot more.
